yes I'm still alive :)

Hi everyone.

Well, I haven't written in my blog for about a month or so now. Yikes!

Please be assured that things are going so well. I am finally starting to feel like Nashville is home and I am happy living here. Work is going well and it is pretty much business as usual. We had a beautiful "Blue Christmas" service last month that I will tell you more about later.

This post is going to be short. I'm cramming trying to get applications into Princeton Seminary, Fuller Seminary and Louisville in the next few weeks and I'm spending a lot of my time on that right now.

Please pray that I will stay calm, nto stress, and that I can trust that everything will work out as it's supposed to. I'm doing my first campus visit (to Louisville) at the end of this month. So I'll let you know how that goes!

Please also pray for this application process----For getting the applications done and for discernment about this next step in my life.

I'm still loving the church and I think I've realized my leadership niche is---Congregational Care! So I'm looking to get more involved with that in the following months.

You all can expect some great quotes/thoughts on community for the next post....which (let's be honest) will probably be early February.
